New Cooper Square captures the trendy atmosphere of the neighborhood that the legendary Peter Cooper
founded in the College of the 19th century. The trend emerged from combining creative style of a brand new chic with an old New York’s past that includes a warm, spicy and intense fragrance.
More than for 150 years, the Cooper Square played in New York a modest role as the forecourt of the world-renowned Cooper Union College (art, architecture and engineering were taught here) – and was a strategic route between Uptown and ”super-Downtown “. Today it is a trendy district of The Bowery and New York’s most trendy hot spot.
The place itself has the shape of a triangle that points it’s arrows toward Downtown. It is named after the legendary New York neighborhood inventor, entrepreneur and philanthropist- Peter Cooper, who helped poorer people get the best educational opportunities through scholarships (as he himself had never had).
Over the years, around the place was developed a kind of multi-cultural mini-campus with students, hipsters and tourists, with pizza, tapas, sushi and falafel stands, margarita and mojito bars, Japanese hair salons, yoga studios , an iconic record store and a small hotel in the very Parisian style. But in recent times, the atmosphere changed a lot. Metallic-shiny, spectacular buildings gave the Cooper Square a new style. Recently were opened two absolutely “cool” relevant new hotels – the “Bowery” and the “Cooper Square”.
The style here is the Downtown Future Fashion-Style: a compelling mix of brand new chic combined with Old from New York’s past.
Bond No.9 Cooper Square – The fragrance
New Cooper Square by Bond No.9 perfumes is characterized by its unmatched modern style at the same time warmed with intense notes of juniper berry. The aroma has a deep spice note that is seductive, but also reassuring.
The “Key Notes”, which are: lavender, patchouli, and the precious flower of the Mediterranean Ciste Labdanum, give the fragrance a very attractive, balanced masculine-feminine character, which is currently demanding in downtown greatly.
Bond No.9 Cooper Square – The bottle
The silvery, shiny chrome bottle is inspired by the spectacular new buildings around the Cooper Square. The high-tech laser logos by Bond No. 9 are semi-transparent and conjure fascinating effects. If you hold the bottle against the light, the logos reflect the opposite side and the light reflection plays inside of the new Cooper Square by Bond No.9 bottle.
