The name Vera Wang is synonymous to excellent bridal gowns that made the designer popular. Through the years the brilliant designer went on to expand her clientele by launching a lifestyle brand that features everything from ready to wear clothing to fashion accessories and perfumes. Vera Wang’s Truly Pink was the fifth fragrance that was launched, a scent that is truly different form the other previous one that was released.
Looking at its bottle reminds me of a shape of a bridal gown, so my initial thought was that the scent would be something to complement her bridal designs. And this impression holds true as Truly Pink has this very simple and romantic scent. The top notes includes white freesia, cassis, pink rose accord, violet wood and iris which give off a sweet and citrus scent which fades into a pink rose scent in the middle. Everyone can wear this perfume though I imagine it being worn by brides especially during the spring and summer season.
Vera Wang’s Truly Pink is all about a conservative yet a slight touch of modern look in the world of perfumes. It is not edgy, or strong or overpowering at all. It lives up to its name as being a pink fragrance.

I wear this all the time. It’s soft, not fussy & light. It makes a great day fragrance. I work with the general public & have to be careful not to pick overpowering scents. I have gotten complements for both men & woman on this one.
