1. Clive Christian Imperial Majesty
This scent by British designer Clive Christian has been voted at the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive perfume in the world. The 16.9 bottled perfume is set in an 18 Karat gold collar that is accentuated with a five- carat diamond. The price is at $ 215,000 and the production of this scent is said to be only five bottles annually making it such a rare piece.

This scent is not as spectacular as the Imperial Majesty perfume but it is the current second most expensive perfume. Priced at $2,150 for a 2 oz bottle, the container is handmade from lead crystal and it has 33 carat diamond in its neck. The perfume has the sophisticated combination of Indian jasmine, mandarin and sandalwood .
3. Caron’s Poivre
This is a unisex perfume that retails at $2,ooo for the 2 oz bottle. The scent is made up of the following notes : lavender, jasmine, rose, Lily of the valley, carnation, cedar, sandalwood, Tonka and musk . It is packed beautifully in a Baccarat bottle. The white gold collar is encrusted with crystals and it exudes sophistication. Poivre means pepper in French the designer Caron, made this the inspiration of the scent. It may have the spicy scent of a pepper but it also some flowery notes making the perfume sweet and seductive at the same time.
4. Chanel No. 5
This is the first perfume of Parisian Couturier Coco Chanel. It has been termed as one of the classics in the perfume industry because it was launched in the year 1921.. The retail price is around $ 1,850 for the 15.2 oz. This is the most selling perfume of Chanel and it is said that they sell a bottle of this perfume every 30 seconds worldwide.
5. Baccarats Les Larmes Sacrees de Thebe
Elegantly bottled in a pyramid shaped container that is made of Baccarat crystal, the .25 oz perfume retails at $ 1,700 . Baccarat is known to be the maker of high quality crystal but they created their own perfume too in the late 1990’s. Rankincense and myrrh are the main notes of this perfume, and somehow inspired by the Egyptian Spirits.
